New View of Spring

After staying in the cabin w/out windows its amazing how much one can appreciate some natural light and a wonderful spring breeze.  To this point we have put in 3 or 7 windows (2-northside and 1-south).  I would suppose the next big differece in the cabin will be when we put in the the gable end windows.  These should provide a whole new level of light.  Look for future pictures showing rectangular windows that will be 4'x3' in the top of the gable ends.
So far spring highlights would include: Woodcock spireling from the sky w/ a driven whistle, bull bluegills defending their spawning beds, soring eagles overhead, sandhill cranes visiting each morning and Jay and Deane tying the knot w/ a traditional  UP wedding next door.

This is looking really great! I'm glad to be able to point to that roof and say I had a hand in putting this together!
